New Previvor Pin is now in and ready to ship. This pin is for all the BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 gene mutation carriers. Some of us are Survivors (we have fought breast or ovarian cancer) and others are Previvors (at high risk for breast or ovarian cancer due to the gene mutation) This pin is 1 1/4" tall and is great quality Cloisonne. I learned of my BRCA 2 gene mutation status in 1998. Months later, my sister learned that she carried this gene mutation also. She had a double prophylactic mastectomy in 2007. She also had her ovaries removed. In 2013, I learned that my 20-year-old daughter also carries the gene mutation. My sister and my daughter are both Previvors. With this gene mutation comes a very high risk for cancer. We have an 87% chance of getting breast or ovarian cancer in our lifetime.
