I was so cold at my 3-Day walk in Dallas last month that I wore a pair in black on my legs and my white pair on my arms! Pink Wings News:
I completed every mile of my 12th 3-Day 60 mile walk in Dallas in November. It was an amazing walk. It was so cold on Day 1 that there was frost on the ground! As I dropped off my bag with the gear and tent trucks, I finally met Mike Pink Shoes Wingo. This is an amazing man who has been very active in the fight against cancer. We have emailed and face booked for over 5 years- but this was our first time meeting in person. 
I walked with Pink Wings teammates Lori and Diane from Chicago. 
I also spent much of Day 1 and Day 2 walking with Barbara Jo and new friend Neha. 
Barbara Jo is a legend. She is 73 and has completed over 125 long distance walks and raised over $1 million dollars in the fight against breast cancer.
The Dallas 3-Day had 2800 walkers and we raised over $7.1 million dollars!
There will be a Pink Wings team crewing the Chicago 3-Day in 2012 and also walking in either San Fran, Philly or Twin Cities. Please contact me if you would like to join our team.

and hanging out with my cousins and their kids in Michigan and meeting all of their adorable animals. The Alpacas and the puppies were so cute! 
. We ended our trip with a speedboat tour of Chicago on the last day of our vacation. What a blast! I hope you all have had time to enjoy your summer with the special people in your life.
