Our new Pink Wings Pink Ribbon V-Neck shirts are hot off the presses. They are available in white or black. The shirts come with or without the word SURVIVOR going down the left hand side of the shirt, just beyond the pink ribbon design. The cost is just $20 for White and $22 for Black. They come in sizes Small-3XL. These shirts run very true to size, if not a little big. They are not the typical fitted shirt and are more of a uni-sex fit. The V-neck is not too deep and the sleeves run a bit longer than the traditional V-neck, so it will cover your upper arms. The shirt is also nice and long. This is a soft, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk shirt. The Pink Ribbon design is exclusive to Pink Wings. The back of the shirt is blank. You will LOVE our new shirt!! On a sad note- I lost my wonderful friend, Edna, to breast cancer in December. She had just turned 40 on November 6th. I met her at the Young Breast Cancer Survivor Conference about 10 years ago when she was first diagnosed. After 8 years cancer free, Edna was diagnosed again in September of 2010. She fought long and hard. Edna was a black belt in Karate & the Karate Girl Pink Ribbon pin was designed from a photo of her. I donated the proceeds of the sales of the pin to help with Edna’s expenses and over $1,000 was raised in just 36 hours. I was touched to find out that an image of the Karate Girl Pink Ribbon Pin will be etched on Edna’s tombstone. Here is a photo of Edna with a little friend.

Barbara Jo is a legend. She is 73 and has completed over 125 long distance walks and raised over $1 million dollars in the fight against breast cancer.

and hanging out with my cousins and their kids in Michigan and meeting all of their adorable animals. The Alpacas and the puppies were so cute! 
. We ended our trip with a speedboat tour of Chicago on the last day of our vacation. What a blast! I hope you all have had time to enjoy your summer with the special people in your life.
